Daniel Lenin Kumar (age 23) from Karumandapam Jayanagar Extension, Trichy. UKR operating near Trichy Post Office through Broker James. Ranjith Kumar (48), the owner of a real estate company called Promoters, was introduced to Daniel Lenin Kumar. Ranjith Kumar, who contacted Daniel Lenin Kumar last year 2020, seems to have said wishful thinking that if he invests in our company, he will get double profit. Believing this, he invested Rs. 26½ lakhs in the company from June 2020 to August 2021.
But Ranjith Kumar has not paid him any profit till now. The money invested was not returned. He did not give a proper answer despite asking about it several times. It was only then that Ranjith Kumar came to know that he had cheated Rs.26½ lakhs.
Based on the complaint, the police led by Trichy Cantonment Police Inspector Sivakumar registered a case against Ranjith Kumar and his accomplice, Broker James. Following this, the police, who arrested Ranjith Kumar, are looking for James.
